POWER SYSTEM STUDIES ENGINEER - CONTRACT – SURREY
Our Client is seeking a Power System Studies Engineer for a range of onshore and offshore projects for an initial 12 month contract role that has an immediate start.
EXPERIENCE:
Must have electrical power system studies experience within the onshore and offshore oil and gas industry.
Must have experience of ETAP.
Must have experience of the job scope below.
JOB SCOPE:
Projects include local power generation, renewable power including BESS or grid connections at voltages up to 220kV.
Studies will include equipment sizing, load flow, short circuit, dynamic motor starting, harmonic studies, arc flash, transient stability and protection co-ordination.
Tasks will include running power system studies and overseeing third party vendors providing power system studies for projects including EMT software.
DURATION: 12 months initially
LOCATION: The role will be based 5 days a week in our Client’s Offices in Surrey. Hybrid working may be possible with two days remote.
RATE: £65.00 per hourLtd co rate
If the role is Likely to be outside of IR35 the final decision will only be made after a QDOS assessment.
